III.Faculty Introduction
Founded in July 1999, the College of Science now has a doctoral degree authorization point and a postdoctoral research station in the first-level discipline of System Science, two second-level discipline doctoral degree authorization points in Explosive Dynamics and its Applications and Magnetic Physics and Materials, five first-level discipline master's degree authorization points in Mathematics, Science, Power, Statistics and System Science and one master's degree category in Applied Statistics, and there are five undergraduate majors, such as Information and Computing Science, Statistics, Materials Physics and Engineering Mechanics, and Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering, There are 5 undergraduate majors, including statistics, material physics and engineering mechanics, and optoelectronic information science and engineering, with 1,269 full-time undergraduates and 391 graduate students.

Quality of Teaching

Employment quality
In the past three years, the employment rate of the College has stabilized at over 96%. Graduates of Information and Computing Science and Statistics majors have been employed by major IT giants such as Tencent, Baidu, Sohu, Jingdong, etc. Graduates of Materials Physics majors have been employed by major iron and steel enterprises, refractory material enterprises and various industries such as lighting, displays, polymer materials, etc. Graduates of Engineering Mechanics majors have concentrated their careers in the world's top 500 enterprises - China State Construction Engineering Corporation, major branches of China Railway Corporation and well-known curtain wall companies in China.
