On February 22, the 2024 work deployment meeting of our school was held in the Biyuan Hall of Qingshan Campus. Professor Li Deyi and Professor Li Linna won the 2023 Special Contribution Award for High-quality Development.

Professor Li Deyi has been teaching for 40 years, and has always adhered to the front line of teaching, and he has won provincial honorary titles such as "Outstanding Teacher of Hubei Province", "Outstanding Teacher Award of Baosteel Education Fund" and "Hubei Famous Teacher". Professor Li Deyi pays attention to excellence in teaching, constantly explores, and is good at summarizing, and has established the "Basic Discipline (Mathematics) Famous Teacher's Studio", is the leader of the national offline first-class undergraduate course "Advanced Algebra and Analytic Geometry" team, presided over 2 provincial teaching and research projects, and participated in 1 key project of the national education reform sub-project and 1 major special sub-project of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The "Intelligent Blasting System Integration and Control" team led by Professor Li Linna mainly focuses on the fields of intelligent blasting safety control, numerical simulation and engineering blasting application technology. Professor Li Linna's team has presided over 8 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, authorized more than 20 invention patents, drafted 1 industry standard, and won 1 second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, 4 first prizes, 7 second prizes and 4 third prizes of the Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Progress Award.
