On the afternoon of March 13, Yu Hongsheng, Dean of the School of Mathematics and Physics, Liao Yanhua, Vice Dean of Hubei Institute of Technology, and Dr. Shi Dawei visited our institute. Members of the leadership team of the college participated in the exchange, and the meeting was held in the conference room on the sixth floor of the second floor. Vice President He Li presided over the meeting.

After watching the promotional video of the college, Dean Ding Yiming extended a warm welcome to Yu Hongsheng and his delegation on behalf of the college. He introduced the history of our hospital and its development in recent years. He believes that the School of Mathematics and Physics of Hubei University of Technology and the School of Science of Wuhan University of Science and Technology have similar directions in discipline development and large space for cooperation.

Yu Hongsheng praised the achievements of our school in student discipline competitions in recent years, especially mentioned the breakthroughs of our students in the National College Student Physics Experiment Competition and other competitions. The School of Mathematics and Physics of Hubei University of Technology has similar hopes, hoping to take this opportunity to learn about the student training model of our school and learn advanced experience in discipline competitions.

The two sides carried out detailed communication on discipline construction, student discipline competitions, and joint training of graduate students. The School of Mathematics and Physics of Hubei University of Technology hopes to carry out further negotiations with our school on the cooperation of master's supervisors.
