In order to further motivate young teachers to actively devote themselves in the field of university physics experiment teaching, to improve the teaching level, to promote the teaching reform, and to facilitate the exchange of teaching experience, the Teaching Guidance Committee of Basic University Physics Courses in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, the Teaching Guidance Committee of Physics Specialties in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, as well as the Committee of Physics Teaching of Chinese Physical Science Society have jointly organized the " 2024 Lecture Competition for Young Teachers of University Physics Laboratory Courses in Colleges and Universities of China".
The "Rui Cup" Lecture Competition for Young Teachers of University Physics Laboratory Courses in Higher Education Institutions in Hubei Province was held on May 25-26 at Wenhua College in Wuhan City, Hubei Province. Twenty-one colleges and universities, including Wuhan University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology, sent excellent young teachers to participate in the competition.
Among many outstanding participants, Mr. Dong Xijie from our college won the first prize of the competition with his excellent teaching skills and innovative teaching concepts. Mr. Dong Xijie's award not only reflects his personal professionalism in the field of physics teaching, but also highlights the remarkable achievements of the Faculty of Science in training and supporting young teachers.
The competition aims to select and recognize young teachers with outstanding performance in physics laboratory teaching through the form of competition, so as to motivate teachers to actively participate in teaching reform, improve teaching quality, and lay a solid foundation for cultivating high-quality physics talents. Mr. Dong Xijie's award is a high recognition of his teaching ability and the affirmation of the physics experiment teaching team of the College of Science.
