In order to encourage young teachers to actively participate in teaching, guide young teachers to strengthen classroom teaching ability training, and improve the ideological quality and professional quality of young teachers, the Faculty of Science held the 14th Young Teachers Teaching Competition in 11109 on April 18. Zhang Chuanzhou, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Science, He Li, Vice Dean, Liu Yunbing, Dean of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Li Yu, Dean of the Department of Applied Physics, and Chen Guijuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Engineering Mechanics, served as the judges of the competition, and Zhang Chuanzhou presided over the competition.
Before the start of the competition, Zhang Chuanzhou delivered a speech that the Young Teachers Teaching Competition not only helps to improve the teaching level and professional ability of teachers, but also encourages teachers to try new teaching strategies and methods, improve the quality of education, and contribute to the cultivation of more outstanding talents.
The competition is divided into two parts: teacher teaching and judges' comments, and 6 young teachers from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, the Department of Applied Physics, the Department of Engineering Mechanics, and the Department of System Science completed the teaching by means of PPT explanation and writing board book. In the teaching session, the teachers cleverly introduced the teaching content with practical examples, explained the content taught in detail, and set up interactive links to improve students' participation and concentration, so as to realize the same frequency resonance of teachers and students.
In this young teacher teaching competition, the young teachers went all out, among them, Chen Mengyao won the first prize, Bai Fan and Zhang Xian won the second prize, and Wang Liyong, Li Qi and Deng Zhao won the third prize.
The judges affirmed the performance of the young teachers in this competition and made suggestions. They said that the competition is also an important bridge for communication and cooperation between teachers, and through evaluation and exchange, teachers can learn from each other's experience and teaching methods, jointly improve the teaching level, and contribute to the cultivation of more outstanding talents. Finally, the judges wished the young teachers persistent efforts and excellent results in the school competition.
